Pro power amp with good current and damping factor.

Dear Sirs,
I am new to this section.
I have a question about amps.
At present I am driving a pair of Dynaudio speakers with a Samson Servo 260 amp.
The bass is slow and not very well damped, sloppy.
I understand that Dynaudio woofers can be really great when driven properly (high current and high damping factor power amps).
So I am searching for an INEXPENSIVE power amp that can control better the bass drivers then the Samson but always with a nice sound on the midrange and highs like the Samson.
Is the PHONIC MAX 2500 a viable option?
Or it would be better a CREST CPX 1500 ?
Any other suggestion would be very appreciated.
