Thank you for the advice. I had considered that route. My DVD player had both optical and digital outs, but the optical was disabled when it was moded by Ric at tweakaudio. I can reconnect that way and use all digital path. I do agree that all digital path is better but I will not be able to use it with SACD. On the other hand I don't have that many SACDs!
I give it a try!
