It's a dynamic mic. One pin is the case ground. The other two leads are the voice coil but I wouldn't apply any DC to it through a VOM because it may damage it. From there it a matter of determining the phase of the remainiing leads. I would email Shure for info stating model and serial number. DC will cause the voice coil to go all the way forward or backward and stay there until the DC is terminated. NEVER EVER test a ribbon mic with a VOM! You'll ruin it! The ribbon will be severed, cut by the excursion. Ray Hughes
