My TopHat comes with a Bludog slightly modified and made by Weber and designed by Brian at Tophat AND a Greenback. Its a great combination.
Ted will make the Tophat speaker by request, its called a C-12TH. Its a little less foreward than a vin 30, and a little brighter than a greenback but very british. Combinations are very tricky to get right and require a lot of experimentation. Basically, its best to use two that sound similar in the top end - or you risk landing in a place where you can't set your amp/guitar to sound best for either. The Blue Dog and Silver Bell might work together with the blue dog providing more low mids, and the top ends of both having some bell-like qualities. Just be careful, or be willing to experiment.If you want to find out where a speaker came from, use the manufacturer codes on it. There are references on the web and at webervst that will tell you what they mean.
