Apogee Mini-DAC

Hi all,
Does anyone have any experience with this DAC? I am very interested in it for home audio use. The main thing that attracts me to it vs. the Benchmark is that the Mini-DAC has a usb input which would allow reduced initial jitter out of a computer because of not being touched by a clock yet.
How is Apogee DAC's overall on the ultimate scale?
