PZM (boundary layer mics)like a flat surface of at least 4 sq ft, that's 2' x 2'. The larger the surface the lower the bass response. I purchased two sheets (one for each channel) of lucite that is 3/8" thick and mounted the PZMs in the gteometric center of this and mount them on stands 6 feet in the air the two stands 8' apart one at the keyboard and the other at the end of the concert grand. If the lucite is clear then they are not that innocuous but some church officials may object to their use. Ray Hughes
