Thanks for the suggestion. I'm looking way beyond those. Something that's more secure, with a self-muting receiver and pro features like XLR i/o and +4 dBu level. I found what's at the link, but it's not an off-the-shelf system. I assume that events that use radio-delay towers must be bringing in a low power portable transmitter on a temporary permit.

We've pretty much decided to drop jacks at various locations in his room to allow connecting the portable floor rack to the amp rack.
