placement of PZM mics

I will be recording some people singing with a piano this weekend. I will be using Pzm 180 or PS pzms. There is a square column on either side of the group. Where should I locate the mics on the columns.
Location 1: Inside, facing the group/piano/each other\
2: Center, parallel with seats and same plane as each other
3: Outside, facing away from group and toward respective walls
