Small PA help needed!

Hi all. I have a question about putting together a small PA that will voice "piano" in a realistic manner. I want to do some gigging and my main priority is that I have a nice - faithful piano reproduction.

In the past, I had tried a pair of EV powered monitors, and I thought that they muddied up the sound of the piano.

My budget is not that high - so I would be looking at either passive or active... entry level (or second tier) PA gear.

On my shortlist are the

YAMaha... Msr 100 (possibly the MS 300) (active)
Mackie... Srm 350 or 450 (active)
EV SX 300 (passive)
or perhaps some entry level EV powered speakers.

Is there anyone who feels strongly about any one of these items, or put another way - does anyone have an opinion which of these items would voice piano the most realistically?

I realise you get what you pay for, and the stuff I've listed is probably the most affordable offerings of the different companies - but maybe there's a diamond in the rough? Or perhaps another I haven't mentioned worth looking at?

Regards,

GWIL.
