If you ARE intrested, I use it to have options. oftentimes I may select one channel, or mono the pair and add in some top eq to the sub (to compensate for summing) and go one track to final mixdown and pan that approprately.My analogy is this:
If you have it, use it. Measure twice, cut once. More is better, you can allways take away, try to add, you are adding something that was never there to begin with.
