Yes,the A10s are efficient and strong to the high end, and in fact will go down to 30 Hz quite nicely, but they require a 10 cu. ft box to do so. A smaller box gives a nasty low end bump; Alpha 10s are best suited for what they were designed to do, very small sealed or open back boxes on electric guitar from 80 Hz on up.The Beta 10 is a lot better choice for the most part. Tuned to 50 Hz in a 3.3 cu.ft box they have an F3 at 45 Hz, which is plenty low enough for most pro-sound applications. From the same size box the Alpha ten just can't get a smooth response curve.
