Yes,the A10s are efficient and strong to the high end, and in fact will go down to 30 Hz quite nicely, but they require a 10 cu. ft box to do so. A smaller box gives a nasty low end bump; Alpha 10s are best suited for what they were designed to do, very small sealed or open back boxes on electric guitar from 80 Hz on up.

The Beta 10 is a lot better choice for the most part. Tuned to 50 Hz in a 3.3 cu.ft box they have an F3 at 45 Hz, which is plenty low enough for most pro-sound applications. From the same size box the Alpha ten just can't get a smooth response curve.
