Yes, identical instances of one card with audio streaming from one source, perhaps with some software to map the audio to the various cards. I was more concerned about conflicts, which you addressed. I imagine any tricks within GUIs pertaining to "which card is which" would be either intuitive or easily figured out with experimentation...
I know you can get pro audio interfaces with dozens of channels and I also know of some pro interfaces that are "stackable".
I just wanted to know about two identical cards in the same box, and you were the first to give me the answer I wanted so...
