Just a few things that I see:
No support for Apple Lossless.
Support for AIFF only up to 48 kHz.
An iPhone app, but nothing for Android.
For playing music files from the network it's a UPnP client, so that means much less functionality compared to either Squeezebox or Sonos and features on par with your typical consumer DVD player with built-in UPnP.
UuVol is Cambridge Audio's internet service similar to MySqueezebox.com that facilitates connections to internet radio. It appears to have much less support for paid music services.
Hard to say exactly what the user interface is like with connected USB devices, but it looks like it offers little more than directory browsing.
