Thanks for the summaries: I love info like this. Once question though, could you please clarify the statement below?

"Echo Audiofire12:- Incredible sound stage and clarity of sound....but did not reproduce sound."

How did the Echo not repdroduce sound? Is a word missing here perhaps?
And how would you describe the difference / improvement with the TC electronic? I was looking at a Focusrite Sapphire because it had a loopback feature I need for digital crossover programs. But now I may have to reconsider.
