I received an email yesterday from Andrew Gillis notifying customers that Sonicorbiter Version 2.8 is now available for the Sonore Rendu series. Anyone else upgrading? I ordered mine.
Many new and exciting features are contained in this release including:
- Significantly improved DAC firmware compatibility.
- Fully compatible with the latest Spotify protocol.
- Kernel modernization to improve future application support.
- Updated DLNA and NAA.
- A CD Player can now be plugged into a Rendu USB port and play to any Roon Ready endpoint or DLNA endpoint (directions coming soon...).
- Update from any previous software version directly to Version 2.8.
