There are 3 really good USB to SPDIF converters that have had as much of a super positive SQ consensus as you could probably get....

The CMOS solutions of the F-1 boards, - now the Singxer SU-6 is also one of the most expensive... (Works best with Hi-Rez).

The Gustard U-16. (Best value, has trouble with Hi-Rez).
