I hear you about getting a dedicated streamer - I used to do that but got tired of unplugging and moving my Denon HEOS Link between my main system and desk when I wanted to listen with headphones. So now I have a Schiit Modi 3 which sits on top of the Stax energizer and I can leave everything hooked up except for plugging in the headphones (kept in a dustproof case when not in use) and plugging in the Stax AC adapter.
The CPU is an Intel Core 2 duo 6300 @ 1.86 GHz per core. Kind of old but sits on a Gigabyte high reliability (all solid capacitors) motherboard that just refuses to die. OS is the latest version of Windows 10, system has 6GB of RAM and a 500GB SSD.
I could also use my Android phone (Moto G7) via wi-fi to run Qobuz and connect its USB port to the Modi. If I got or made another phone stand that would let it sit upright while connected it might be better (the USB-C connector is on the bottom edge). Qobuz is not 100% compatible with landscape mode, but it will work that way.
But I like having Qobuz running on the PC so I can use the big screen, and I can just leave everything mostly plugged in and ready to go. Setting the priority on one task per session is not too bad.
