Speed tests at 170 Mb/sec today. Yes I have the latest 32 ch Motorola DOCSIS 3.1 modem and am using a fairly recent ASUS router, which the computer is hardwired to with an ethernet cable.I discovered only the first of 3 Qobuz processes needs to have the priority set to above normal, this is the process using the most memory of the 3.
Once I do that, no stuttering. I might monitor performance in task manager with priority set back to normal and see whether the bottleneck is CPU, memory, disk (SSD) or network. I suspect it might be CPU, with the browser temporarily hogging the CPU when it is connecting to a new website.
EDIT: CPU hits 100% when the stuttering occurs if the first Qobuz process is 'normal' priority. With 'above normal' priority, it still hits 100% but the stuttering doesn't happen.
Listening to Dudamel's Nutcracker in 24/96 on Qobuz with my Stax headphones, sounds very nice.
