Yes... maybe has something to do w hi rez but also me thinks it has to do w USB so prevalent in the DAC market.
I just think the market is at an awkward place where the best and simplest solution is not being implemented.
I have to admit I have no interest in hirez. My goal is to maximize redbook which is what all my music is along w most of the streaming. Not to mention technical religious reasons which is whole nudder thing.
BTW... The Sonore Signature SE (V1?) had BNC/SPDIF. Maybe their newer models use USB.
