I would bet if your networked computer (or streamer) uses an outboard USB DAC that you would be able to make your system less resolving of the vagaries of your Ethernet cables and more resolving of the sound on your recordings by using a USB REGEN.
Just a guess on my part, as I didn't order one in time for June delivery. Perhaps someone has done the needed tests.
