No. It is not fanless - pics

I own three Mac Minis. They are not fanless but use a magnetic levitation ultra-quiet fan that rarely ever spins up unless you run a very heavy workload on the Mini. A music player is not a heavy workload and you'll probably never hear the fan unless you put your ear right up to it.

And many others. iTunes on the Mac cannot play DSD directly but you can buy an add-on that works in conjunction with iTunes to play DSD:
