Hello,
I am new at this forum, and not a computer savvy.
Lately I bought a second-hand VAIO VGN-SZ6 series laptop with the purpose of converting vinyl analog music to DSD files. I was delighted to read in the manual that the sound reality hardware along with DSD Direct, supposedly allow me to do this. However, when I tried it I got a message that my system does not have analog inputs!!! Neither can the AV input used for this purpose. Is this done intentionally? It seems Sony wants to force me to buy a KORG recorder to do what they could offer with a simple low-tech addition.
Is there a way around this without having to import a Korg?
Thanks, Eliezer
