Correct, I am using the 2 b and am currently using the crossover plugin with Foobar...to do what you are talking about.

THere are others and the one in this thread linked below seems to be one of the best for a small fee.

I originally went this route, because I could get crossovers and room correction for free, and I am glad I did go this way! THe flexibility is awesome, and I have also found that it works great as a pre amp. So, for under $1k you can get a ton of useful flexibility and great sound.

I got mine at jrrshop.com and it arrived sooner than I expected.
