never mind.

here's how to get asio action w/ foobar:

d/l the driver and unzip. go to folder bin > normal.

drag the .dll file into c: (or wherever foobar is on your machine) > program files > foobar2000 > components.

go to foobar's prefs > output. select asio.
if you can not see asio, try switching playback to 24 bit fixed point or 24 bit padded to 32. go to output again and select asio. now you can go back and change playback if you desire (at least i could, anyway!).
