Do V1a and V1b 6SN7s on M-60 MK3.3 need to be matched?

My understanding is that the V1a and V1b 6SN7 on M-60 (rear left and rea right) are input tubes running parallel. Question is does V1a need to be closely matched to V1b? Thanks
