Atma-Sphere was a corporation, but it was not publicly traded. So Tre' is technically correct about the definition. But, consider a scenario in which you start from a position of controlling all the stock of your company, and then you accept two partners to move forward with you in your business and you trustingly sell them some of the stock in recognition of that partnership, and then you find yourself removed as the CEO and ousted from any participation in the company you built.. "Hostile takeover" becomes a pretty good analogy and description don't you think?
