Duh. Bad Tubes. 4 bad in one amp and 2 bad in the other. Replaced the bad ones with questionable, but not blown tubes in one amp. Bias balances and comes up to .55mA without a problem, but has more hum than I remember. Time to retube these babies.
Anyone know the least expensive place for Svetlana or Sovtek 6as7g's?
