I cannot help wondering what sort of OTL preamp requires 200uF of capacitance at its output. (You did mean to write PREamp, I assume.) Is it a Futterman type design?I guess that doesn't help answer your question. If you're in love with the preamp, and since you don't like BGs, you might try to find some Elna Cerafines. They are the best of the rest after BG, IMO. Also, you could take a cue from the DIY forum and try "motor run" oil caps. You can get them in 100uF values from a site on eBay. M Percy carries them but only up to 40uF, I think.
