ECC34

I have been using ECC34s in V1 and V2 of my M60s and am considering trying one in V3, but have some concern as the tubes are a little different than standard 6sn7s. My understanding is that the Mullard ECC34's typical operation is:
(Vplate = 250V, Vgrid = -16V, Iplate = 10ma, Gm = 2200,
Rplate = 5.2K, Mu = 11.5)
Filament current = 950ma)
Specifically, I am wondering if in the M60s the negative bias is appropriate for this tube or whether it will push into the positive side and significantly shorten the tube's life. BTW, the sound of these in input is spectacular; IMO, better than the various NOS Ratheon 231s, Sylvania 6sn7Ws or the Tung-Sols or Ken Rads. Therefore, I would hate to burn through them too quickly.

Also would appreciate your thoughts on using quality 6sn7s in V4 of the M60s and in the MP-3. Is there any benefit here or are medium quality tubes sufficient for these positions.

I know the 6sn7 question has been discussed extensively in the archives, but I could find no specific reference to the ECC34 questions. Thanks.

Arthur
