Studying circlotron OTLs for a little project of mine is making my brain hurt.....Why is the bias voltage in the output stage of Scott Dorsey's OTL (schematic on this site) -200v instead of -100v?
Seems like -100v is more than enough to bias the valves down into cutoff - or aren't the cathodes of the output stage at 0v like I am assuming? Are they actually at -150v in relation to ground?
