I had not realized that there would be differences in the form of a slightly higher output Z and slightly more outpur stage gain associated with taking the output of the circlotron off the plate vs off the cathodes of the output tubes. Since there is no plate OR cathode resistor in the circlotron, I had heretofore considered the two outputs to be equal vis gain and output Z. But I THINK I can see your point.
