I made exactly this change. I run the V2 grid at
(from memory, it was a while ago) 100V. Simulation
said this was the best distrotion point. I run
the input stage at (again from memory) 8 mA per
phase. The stock current is really too low for
the 6SN7 but is necessary because of the restricted
voltage available.
