The early M-60 kits were true entry level. I don't think I could recommend this version with high-efficiency horns. Later, the kits evolved a bit and more options became available at extra cost. If I was to use very efficient speakers with an M-60, I'd be sure the driver supply had the pi-filter upgrade, extra filtering in the output supplies and the HexFred option. There's no real way to tell what you have unless you take a look under the hood. If you look at George May's photos, in the Pictures section of the ASOG page, you'll find these upgrades for visual comparison.
