I forgot to say that I did this comparison; Unbalanced through the transformer is actually much better than without the transformer, and as I say maybe even better than balanced. I have been palyingthe system for the last several days straight and it may be getting slightly better with break-in. What I find interesting is that there might actually be a sonic signature to balanced power that is seperate from the benefits it offers.
