Michael,Class A -vs- Class AB etc. describes the current flowing in the Circltron circuit which has two floating power supplies and is referenced to circuit ground through a pair of 600 ohm resistors. This current loops around the Circltron cricle and through the speaker.
Go here and look at the "BRIDGED AMPLIFIERS" drawing:
http://www.atma-sphere.com/theory.htmThe A2 grid current is a different "loop". It enters into the Circltron circuit from the CF driver tube (and the +/- 300v supply) through the output tube grids, then exits the Circltron circuit through the 600 ohm resistors, returning back to the ground of the +/- 300v supply.
I hope this answers your question.
