We've found that chassis of ferrous materials are detrimental. That's why we've tried to stick to non-magnetic stainless or else aluminum. Aluminum can provide shielding at RF frequencies but we've found that if you need the sheilding you probably have a layout/design problem. Consequently our preamp have only been aluminum chassis, yet RF (even under harsh circumstances) isn't a problem.
