Trying to regulate the output supplies is simply not practical. I wouldn't want to even try. I'm more concerned with other problems when the line voltage gets too low or too high. The output power drops off very quickly when the AC input voltage drops. Too much voltage can adversely effect the amp's longevity. A byproduct of regulating AC input voltage, via an FR transformer, has the added benefit of superb noise rejection because of its bandpass characteristics. I think I'll let you determine the resulting sonic benefits.
