The DIY amp is following whatever bits and pieces I could collect on A-S / ASOG sites, without reference to original factory schematics or hardware. Probably I don't know all the details of the input stage, anyway it works. So far I installed a simple R-C network feeding some high frequencies into the [normally grounded] second input grid, this raised response to above 100kHz.
