Your comment on the evolution of groups album by album rings so true. We; and I say we because the following of the developement of rock music was something that my "elite" group of music head friends followed religiously; lived to hear what the next musical offering would be from our gods. Many of the gods were the bands on your list. This lusting for the novelty of the next best seems to still be evident in my life but now replaced with the next tweak or modification to the musical hardware. the same thrill of discovery! I do long, however, for the sense of musical discovery "we" felt in the explosive years in the late 60's and early 70's.Garland
