The MP-3 provided a big improvement over the Reveille in the following areas, soundstage, imaging, dynamics and detail. Atma-Sphere's slogan "You'll be hearing more from us!" is very apt in my estimation. I have M60 amps and I would guess that there are some system synergy issues involved. Also, the retail price of the Atma-Sphere is approximately double that of the Reveille. I was REALLY impressed by the gains the MP-3 provided. Night and day really. The Reveille was designed by a company that caters to a different clientele, namely low powered SET amps and high efficiency speakers. I'm sure it is probably not fair to evaluate the preamp in my system (higher power amps with less efficient speakers).

My brother is getting an MP-3 soon and will be using it with Rogue 88 amps. Atma-Sphere does have some type of transformer that they recommended for use with single-ended amps. I am not at all technically literate in the audio realm but will report back with listening impressions after hearing my brothers setup in 2-4 weeks.
