Please kindly advise:
1. Can I wire pin 3 of V6 and pin 6 of V8 directly to the speaker terminal instead of to the negative terminal of C4? By this I can cut down the number of solder points between the tube and the speaker.
2. The 1 ohm resistors of V9-12 go to the + post of C4, should the wire pass medial or lateral to the choke? If medial, it doesn't have to pass over the filament barrier strip but the route is longer. If lateral, the route is shorter but I am afraid that noise maybe picked up from the high current filament wires.
3. I changed the 150 Ohms resistors to holco, and the internal wirings to Siltech LS-25 (Cu-Ag hybrid), any comments?
