Most any DVM will have a 2 volt, full scale, range. This is perfect for adjusting offset voltage at the speaker terminals. That same voltage range will provide sufficient accuracy for measuring the voltage across the one ohm plate resistors. Some DVMs have a 200 mV full scale range. This is overkill for this application. Again, most DVMs will have a 2 amp, full scale, range. This is what you need to measure the total bias current externally.I hope this helps.
