Thanks Lew, I'll look for some of your suggesed titles to add to my vinyl collection, in particular the Sinatra/Jobim recording.I did pick up the Patricia Barber CD which Wayne suggested. It's interesting, in light of your opinion, that the cut Wayne likes is "If This Isn't Jazz." I enjoyed it, and it certainly does show-off my M60's and Merlins - granted, with CD sonics.
I'm not knowledgable about jazz, but neither was Shostakovich when he wrote his Jazz Suite. Now THAT isn't jazz.
