Thanks bryan, Frank & paco for you comments below. I did talk to John
at Sonic Culture and he did reccomend the Ref 3a which im seriously considering. Frank, the Lotus looks tempting and i figure would be a vbetter choice for my raether large listening area. i was able to locate a Mk1 at a resoanable price and I understand they are upgradeable. regarding the sonatinas,from what I have read, can give a rather "no meat on the bones" sonic presentation with Otls. Yes, yes,yes the best approach is to listen for yourself. I wish i could but here on Long Island there are no dealers that sell OTL friendly speakers. Ditto for Manhattan.
