I tried the R645s with my MA1, MK IIs. A friend had bought them on trial and when he decided he didn't like them (big Llano sand amps), I got them for a period of time. John, the guy at Newform, was very responsive at all times. Unfortunately, I didn't care for them either, but, hey, that's personal taste for you. I have no slam on the speaker of it's designer.
