Re: Tip Jacks

From Mouser, here's the ones I like to use:

Basic

black part no. 164-6216
red part no. 164-6217

Fancy

black part no. 164-405B
red part no. 164-405R

If you have and M-60 MK II chassis, you can locate a pair of jacks right next to each 6AS7G, in such a way that they look like an extension of the ventilating holes. If you take a close look, I think you'll see what I mean. You'll want a pair of black jacks next to each 6AS7G and pa pair of red jacks, somewhere closer to the power supply, a bit out of sight. I'd include a picture, but against the black background of my M-60 chassis, the jacks are almost invisible to the camera lens. You'll need to drill 1/4" holes. That's the same size as the ventilation holes.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if any of this makes any sense.
