I had a pair of the Verity Parsifal Encore Moniters and sold them b/c adding the woofer does drop the impedence down to 4 ohms. The people at Verity told my dealer that they can make the woofer to be an 8 ohm load, however, they would have to crossover the woofer at a higher frequency and the result would be a warmer sounding speaker. The parsifal needs plenty of power. They need to be driven hard to sound right. I ended up buying the Coincident Super-Eclipse (14 ohm, 93 db) and the match is superb. My M60's are so more relaxed now. With these speakers you can pull out half of the tubes in the M60 and still drive them.
