Hey James and Mark!Thanks to you both for your replies. You know after I re-soldered
everything for about the 3rd time, everthing seems OK. I even re-soldered
connections (all) between the six output caps. This might have been the problem all along for all I know. The amp in question has been running
stable since I last wrote and re-soldered - re-flowed the marginable
stuff so I'm happy. At this point, I'd have to say it doesnt any longer
look like a component failure.
Thanks to all on the ASOG group for their input and help, and thanks
to Mark for making it all happen. Scooter-tramp Ralph, you know what we
all think of you!! LOL! 8-) Thanks for the GREAT amps!!!Cheers to the ASOG community!
