Thanks... I sent him a money order for $400. He was very communicative with me before I sent the money, but after I emailed him to say that I had mailed the money order - I haven't heard from him again. It hasn't quite been enough time for me to say for sure, but I would be much more comfortable if he would answer my "status inquiry" emails.
I will keep this board posted, and will also post short "Has anyone dealt with Michel Dirske (Netherlands)?" messages on other audio and tube-related websites and chat rooms. If Michel comes through, great! If he does not and I end up losing $400, then I will do everything I can to let as many people as possible know to look out for any dealings with him.
