I read the "Fringe" tweaks. The trouble is, my amps were built and I don't know how to "Rewire the driver stage for 12.6 VAC filaments". I am handy with an iron and parts but would appreciate some more info. And, what is the improvement this "fringe" tweak provides? In what way are these tubes better?One more thing. Would be it worthwhile to add ceramic tube sockets while I'm at it?
